I Love My Basil

I love basil in food. I love it's smell. I love it's taste.

I love it in my bread
hot pandesal + pesto + white cheese

I love it in my pasta

I love it in my shrimps
(stir fry shrimps in little oil, add some catsup and basil leaves)

and in my flower vase too!

Wow! 5 years!!! That's awesome! I LOVE basil. It smells so wonderful. I am terrible at growing herbs, so I usually have to buy it in the winter.

Craisins are like raisins, but cranberry. They are tart and sweet and can replace raisins in many recipes, adding a little red color. :)

I love basil too. The smell of it when you clip it is just heavenly! But I've never thought to put it in with cut flowers, that's a great idea!

As foodie, I appreciate your idea of using basil in a floral display. It's very creative, as well as aromatic.

I have basil envy. ;) I use so much of it and I've been too lazy to plant it the last couple of years. I have a thing for purple basil...opal and red rubin...so pretty and so yummy.
